Ukrainian Festival drawing crowds to Bloor West Village

The Toronto Ukrainian Festival is in full swing, with music, dance, food, a children’s midway and a sidewalk sale all bringing colour to Bloor Street West all weekend long.

The festival has been a mainstay in the Bloor West Village since 1995 and brings revellers to the area from all over. Event highlights include Ukrainian rock legends the Mad Heads, buskers, a craft and artisan fair and dance lessons, among many others.

The event takes place along Bloor between Runnymede and Jane Street until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 and from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17. For more information, including a full schedule of events, visit www.ukrainianfestival.com
