The 2017 iteration of Toronto Fringe is shaping out to be a treat for theatre lovers.

This year’s festival, which kicked off July 5 and runs until July 16, features 160 plays at 35 venues across Toronto. There are also more than 50 free events at the Fringe Club at Scadding Court, 707 Dundas St. W.

Tickets cost $12 per show. Five-show passes cost $45, or 10-show passes cost $85.

During the duration of the festival, the historic Scadding Court Community Centre’s parking lot and outdoor hockey rink is transformed into an urban playground. It features free events, food vendors, and a late-night beer garden.

More than 1,200 artists are involved in putting together this year’s massive festival.
