UPDATE: Photos of men, woman wanted in Toronto parking officer assault

Toronto police are searching for four suspects after a parking enforcement officer was assaulted in the city’s Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood Saturday, Nov. 11.

According to police, a parking enforcement officer was issuing tickets in the area of Dundas Street and Ossington Avenue when she was approached by three men and a woman at approximately 1 a.m.

One of the men allegedly swore and yelled aggressively at the officer. The officer was then issuing tickets in the area of Ossington and Halton Street when the same man who reportedly yelled at her allegedly approached her from behind and hit her in the face, knocking her to the ground. The group of four people reportedly then fled west toward Royal Street.

The suspect who struck the officer was described by police as white and six-foot with a medium build, wearing a puffy navy blue winter jacket and blue jeans. The second male suspect was said to be white, five-foot-six and 28-to-32 years old with a thin build, wearing a puffy black winter jacket and light blue jeans. The third male suspect was only described as white. The female suspect was said to be white, 28-to-32 years old and five-foot-eleven with a medium build and shoulder-length blond hair.

Photos of the suspects have now been released by police.
