UPDATE: Man known to be violent missing from West Queen West found

A missing 39-year-old man known to be violent and dangerous has been found after a safety alert was issued by Toronto police.

Delroy Flowers had been last seen in the area of Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue at approximately 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.

He was described by police as six-foot-five and 180 pounds with a shaved head, brown eyes and missing front teeth. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, black pants and white shoes.

Police asked for the public's help finding him Monday, Nov. 13, noting investigators were concerned for his safety as well as the safety of the public.

On Tuesday, Nov. 14, police announced he was found and thanked those who assisted with the search.
