Public funeral being held in East York for slain Scarborough boy

The life of 15-year-old Isaiah Witt, a Scarborough boy fatally stabbed Saturday, Oct. 7 evening at East York’s Stan Wadlow Park, will be celebrated tomorrow afternoon with a public funeral service.

The gathering, which is expected to draw many young people, will be held at Stan Wadlow Park from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Anyone who would like to pay their respects is welcome.

A visitation for Isaiah, who was a Grade 10 student at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, will also take place tomorrow from noon to 3 p.m. at Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Ave., which is between Donlands and Greenwood avenues.
