Do you know a woman who is going above and beyond the call of duty in advocating for and improving the lives of women and girls? The YWCA Toronto is looking for nominees for its annual Women of Distinction awards, which recognize change-makers in a variety of fields.

Nominees can make an impact in a number of areas, including arts and culture, business, education, public service, science and technology, health and welfare, women’s rights and many others.

They must live and/or work in the GTA, but their work can have an impact locally, nationally or globally. The YWCA Toronto has honoured dozens of women with Women of Distinction Awards since the program’s inception in 1981.
