With new pedestrian upgrades and expanded entertainment zones, a $21 million redevelopment at CF Shops at Don Mills is now complete.

The project began in spring of 2016 at the outdoor lifestyle shopping centre at Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue and incorporated feedback from the community to improve the in-property experience.

Updates to CF Shop at Don Mills include:

• Improved pedestrian and vehicle accessibility, featuring updated digital signage, improved walkways, and updated lighting.

• Extended entertainment zones and enhanced outdoor gathering places.

• Upgraded landscaping, seating options, and new art installations.

• Summer programming included complimentary outdoor yoga classes, group cycling classes, and a weekly farmers' market.

"CF Shops at Don Mills is more than a shopping centre; it's a 40-acre integrated community featuring a range of independent and international retail brands, office space, elevated dining options, as well as a community park, three residential towers — with four to follow — and a future community centre," Niall Collins, senior vice-president, development, Cadillac Fairview, said in a release. "When we began transforming the centre last year, our intent was to provide further integration with the growing condo community and amplify what was already a vibrant, mixed-use destination where people come together."

CF Shops at Don Mills opened in 2009.
