Police release images of suspects in TTC robberies at 2 subway stations

Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying two male suspects responsible for two TTC robberies.

One robbery took place at Woodbine subway station Sunday, June 18 around 9:15 a.m.  Police report two men approached the TTC collector booth and one produced a black handgun and pointed it at the TTC employee and demanded money.

The gun then went off and the suspects left with an undisclosed quantity of cash.

The first suspect in this robbery is described as approximately 5'5", moustache and beard.

The second suspect is described as approximately 5'7".

The second robbery took place at Victoria Park subway station Sunday, June 25 around 10:30 a.m. when a male suspect approached the TTC collector's booth and produced a silver handgun and the pointed it at the TTC employee. The suspect demanded money, and gripped the slide of the gun and released it. He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and tokens, he was with a second male standing outside of the station, his description is unknown.

The main suspect is described as approximately 5'9", moustache and beard.
