Salon III art expo at Leslieville’s Project Gallery

Leslieville’s Project Gallery will be hosting its third annual salon-style art expo from Thursday, Nov. 19, until Jan. 10, 2016.

The two-month long art show, titled Salon III, is set to include a wide range of pieces featuring diverse subject matter, media and styles.

The salon concept, where artworks are displayed from floor to ceiling with little space separating frames, was established in France in 1667 by L’Académie des Beaux-Arts and held at The Louvre.

Project Gallery is at 1109 Queen St. E., just west of Jones Avenue.

The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
