Have your say on Kromer Radio’s former site

News Jul 17, 2013 City Centre Mirror

With many still vehemently opposed to RioCan’s plan to build a retail outlet including a Walmart on the former site of Kromer Radio, the company has set up a website to allow the public to have its say.

The website (www.riocan410-416bathurst.ca) also offers background information and details on the proposal, which calls for a 12,000 square metre, three-storey retail complex with as many as 10 retailers.

Visitors to the site can offer suggestions or comments on the project and sign up for further updates.

“We think this website complements the City’s public meetings and provides the public with an additional opportunity to give us their ideas and comments on the project,” said RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust senior vice president of planning and development Jordan Robins. “We look forward to receiving the public’s feedback in the days, weeks and months to come.”
