Second man charged in Feb. 17 shooting

A second person has been arrested in a shooting investigation involving a 17-year-old boy.

Dwayne Willis, 20, of Toronto, was charged Thursday, Feb. 21 with attempted murder and weapons offences.

Police said a teen was shot in the abdomen on Woolner Avenue, near Jane Street, around 12:45 a.m. Feb. 17.
The victim ran to a friend’s apartment for help before he was taken to hospital, where he’s expected to survive.

Jevaun Anthony Beharie, 18, of Toronto, was charged Feb. 18 with attempted murder after turning himself into police.
