The Toronto Catholic District School Board welcomes new secondary school students throughout the summer months.

New arrivals from outside of Ontario and outside of Canada are encouraged to contact the orientation centre for an appointment. The orientation centre will remain open July 4 to 14, and August 14 to September 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Staff at the centre assess the students’ language and mathematical abilities, evaluate transcripts from overseas or other Canadian provinces and territories, recommend grade and level placements, facilitate placement in one of our TCDSB schools and also provide settlement services for parents of new Canadian students on site.

The centre is conveniently located close to the Bloor and Bathurst subway station at 700 Markham St., and remains open Monday to Friday throughout the regular school year.
