What's open and what's closed on Family Day in Toronto

The Family Day long weekend is here and there is plenty to do on Feb. 20 in Toronto.

From visiting the city's zoos to checking out the latest exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum, Metroland Media Toronto has you covered.

WHAT’S OPEN:

The Toronto Zoo will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Family Day and will have daily activities that will be free with zoo admission.

The High Park Zoo is open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk.  Admission is free on Family Day.

Skating will be available on the city’s 52 outdoor rinks if the weather permits. Many indoor arenas will also be open. Admission is free.

Riverdale Farm is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

The Royal Ontario Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Eaton Centre is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHAT’S CLOSED:

Toronto Schools and public libraries are closed.

LCBO and the Beer Store are closed.

City-operated child care centres and Children's Services district offices are closed.

TRANSIT:

The TTC will operate on its holiday schedule.

GO Transit will run on its Saturday schedule.

EVENTS:
