8 Reasons movies should never have sequels

Beach Mirror

Sometimes Hollywood tries to recreate film moments we loved by making a sequel. Sometimes even the movies we hated do the same thing. Regardless of the case, here's a list of movies that were best left off the big screen.

1. Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd

This is technically a prequel, but Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels are not even in this movie and they were literally the only reason for the original.

2. The Hangover Part II

"You probably get this a lot. This isn't the real Caesar's Palace is it?" The first Hangover movie was quotable and hilarious; we were all excited for part two. And then we were let down.

3. Son of the Mask

No Jim Carey? No Cameron Diaz in the red dress? No thank you.

4. Teen Wolf Too

The original Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox was too good to be tampered with.

5. Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous

Sandra Bullock stole our hearts with the first Miss Congeniality movie but the sequel just wasn't as fabulous as it promised to be.

6. Speed 2: Cruise Control

The bus becomes a boat. And there's no Keanu.

7. Sex and the City 2

I am all for Aidan returning to Sex and the City but cheating on Big with him in Abu Dhabi?

8. Home Alone 3

Why mess with the classics that were 1 and 2?

Austin Powers in Goldmember and the Godfather Part 2... I rest my case.

Author contradicts his own premise in the final item by calling Home Along 2 a "classic". Please disregard, and write off the 2 minutes you'll never get back
