Folk comes to town with My Sweet Patootie

Acoustic Harvest presents folk duo My Sweet Patootie Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.

This pair is armed with a fiddle, finger-style guitar and two voices that bring to the stage a show packed with energy, charm, wit and humour.

My Sweet Patootie uses a light-hearted satirical approach to their song writing as a vehicle to explore life in rural and small town Ontario.

They tackle everything from urban social-political pressure on rural areas, poverty, the environment, all the way down to singing dogs, aging and how to get rid of someone you don't like.

Tickets: $20 and $18 seniors/students.

The concert takes place at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, 1512 Kingston Rd., north east corner of Kingston Road and Manderley Drive, one block east of Warden Avenue. For more details, call 416-264-2235.
