Family supports cancer survivor

Breast cancer survivor Donna Jaeger's family is hosting a fundraising dinner in order to participate in the two-day Walk to End All Women's Cancers.

Jaeger's husband Tom, daughters Bridget and Crystal, sisters Darlene Bell and Sherry Guerra, nieces Tara and Courtney Bell, and extended family member Kelly Dunlop are all rallying to raise $18,000 for the cause. The Etobicoke family hosts its first event, a dinner at Roma's Hospitality Centre in Mississauga, on April 23. The tickets are $75 per person, and include a sit down dinner as well as an open bar. Cocktails are served at 6:30 with dinner at 7:30 p.m. A DJ will provide entertainment through the night. Purchase tickets at the Home Hardware Thorncrest store at Islington Avenue and Rathburn Rd.
