Parents looking for last-minute March Break ideas can take the kids over to Montgomery's Inn for a trip back in time.
Kids will get to cook treats, make creative crafts, play old-time games, and enjoy tall tales - all in the historic atmosphere of the Inn. Each day carries a different theme for the cooking portion of the activities. Tuesday the kids make ice cream; Wednesday is peppermints and mint tea; Thursday chocolate drops and hot chocolate; and Friday maple sugar candies and maple drink. It's all hands-on fun.Parents can choose one or more days. The activities run in the afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. and are geared towards kids aged eight to 11.Pre-registration required.
