THE WOMEN'S GUILD AND HELPING Hands Group of Mimico Presbyterian Church will be holding a St. Patrick's Day tea at the Church, 119 Mimico Ave. from 2 to 4 p.m. and there will be a nominal charge of $8 for adults, $4 for children under age 10. Tickets will be available at the door. There will be some entertainment and refreshments will be served.

THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC screening of the 2009 documentary Waterlife at Richview Library from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Seating is limited. Register at the information desk or call 416-394-5125. This is an excellent movie talking about the Great Lakes and the human effect on them.

A HAITIAN RELIEF fundraiser takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 101, 3850 Lake Shore Blvd. W., 7:30 p.m. The evening will feature four bands, a 50/50 draw, and snacks. Minimum suggested donation is $10.

LEARN TO COOK, and then enjoy healthy vegetarian-vegan food, including a cooking demonstrations, short information session and supper. THE BEAVER BIBLE CLASS of Westway United Church presents its 72nd annual Spring Fling.
