SAC annual juried art show seeks submissions

Recall is the theme, deadline is Feb. 26

Calling all artists! The Scarborough Arts Council is asking for submissions for its 25th annual juried exhibition. Entries must fall under this year's theme, which is Recall. Submissions must incorporate or explore things that have shaped the world over the past decade.

Submissions are open to all forms of media. Artists can submit up to three images of work, a detailed image list, an artist statement and a current cover letter. All of this, along with a completed application form (available online at www.scarborougharts.com), should be mailed in a self-addressed envelope to:

The Scarborough Arts Council

1859 Kingston Road

Toronto, ON

M1N 1T3.

The entry fee is $30 for council members, and $35 for non-members. The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26.

The exhibition will take place at The Centre for Creative Communications, which is Centennial College's East York campus, located at 951 Carlaw Ave. The college, working in partnership with the Scarborough Arts Council, will run the gallery from April 7 to 19.

For more information, contact the arts council at 416-698-7322.
