An annual campaign is under way to urge Canadian pet parents to help homeless pets find love in the season of cupid.
Global Pet Foods and Hill's Science Diet host their Show Us Your Heart fundraiser from Feb. 1 to 14.
"What sets Show Us Your Heart apart is the real impact your donation makes in your community. Your Global store selects a local shelter to support and your donation goes directly to help homeless pets in your area," Global Pet Foods President Jim Walker said in a statement.
To donate in-store, visit any Global Pet Food store during those dates. Donate as little as $1 and Global Pet Foods and Hill's Science Diet will match it.
Global Pet Foods store at 270 The Kingsway, Unit 27 is donating its proceeds to Annex Cat Rescue.
The Bloor West Global Pet Foods store at 2100 Bloor St. W., Unit 9 is raising funds for local animal rescue Helping Homeless Pets.
