Boutiques, cafes, restaurants and even a pharmacy will play host to the Trinity Bellwoods Business Improvement Area's second annual Do Design event.
Do Design is a showcase of contemporary designers found at non-traditional venues on Dundas West between Bathurst and Grace streets.
"It is pretty interesting and kind of exciting to see out-of-place objects in the windows of these store," said Caroline Macfarlane, one of the event coordinators.
Each venue will feature a different design object such as furniture, posters and prints, and most pieces will be visible from the street.
Do Design, held in conjunction with Toronto Design Week, takes place Jan. 26 to 29.
