Artist Yasmine Louis displays her art, titled, Thirteen neighbourhoods, at the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre Sunday. Her work is part of Celebrate 27 Arts Fest, which raises awareness of the diverse programs and services offered by local artists, local arts organizations and the city. Louis' work is on display until April 28 at Cedar Ridge Gallery, which is at 225 Confederation Dr.
Celebrate 27 Arts Fest (C27) promotes Toronto's vibrant cultural and community arts landscape in neighbourhoods across the city and raises awareness of the diverse programs and services offered by local artists, local arts organizations and the city. Scarborough Village youth are invited to take part in the Piece by Piece C27 Mural. Toronto Cultural Services, Arts Services, Mural Routes and Action for Neighbourhood Change present a series of mural workshops where youth are invited to celebrate their creativity by making a piece of this collaborative mural.
