Future of Kingston Road

AT ISSUE: The Future of Kingston Road looks at revitalization plans for Toronto's eastern gateway as it tries to upgrade its image from a strip of cheap motels and used car dealers operating out of trailers. Community groups, politicians and planners are working on a master plan for the eastern section which would make it more welcoming to visitors and improve the appearance, finances and fortunes of businesses and residents along one of Scarborough’s main arteries. Along the way we’ll have stories specific to the master plan and when it might actually be implemented, along with talking to businesses, residents groups and police about their ideas of what’s best for Kingston Road.
