The Etobicoke Energy Green 1995 team took the top spot in the province at the Central Soccer League's L3 division last month.

The boys who play out of the Etobicoke Youth Soccer Club compete in the Ontario Youth Soccer League, the highest level of competitive soccer in Ontario.

This year marks the third consecutive one the team has won or shared league titles since they started playing together in 2008.

Energy Green 1995 boys started off the year by winning the West Niagara Soccer Tournament (North American division) in early spring and have since earned a spot in the Ontario's Central Soccer League's Cup final, which is scheduled to be played on Sept. 11 against defending cup champions Toronto Eagles.

The team finished their season with 10 wins, three ties and one loss.
