Etobicoke Rangers host triple-A minor bantam provincials

Local baseball fans can take in some top-calibre youth action this Labour Day weekend as the Etobicoke Rangers baseball organization hosts the top triple-A minor bantam provincial championships.

Action kicks off Friday, Sept. 3, running until Labour Day Monday, Sept. 6.

In addition to the host Etobicoke Rangers squad, two other Toronto teams are involved - the East York Bulldogs and the West Toronto Wildcats.

"This year we are hosting 21 teams and are once again expecting to see a lot of closely fought games," remarked Mark Chiasson, Etobicoke Baseball tournament chair. "Tournament headquarters will be at Connorvale Park ... With cooperation from the weather we hope to have another great weekend of baseball."

Chiasson has provided us a schedule and we have posted it at our website at www.insidetoronto.com
