Canadian men's wheelchair basketball team on winning streak

Two Scarborough players on squad playing world championships

The Canadian men's wheelchair basketball team have won all their games at the 2010 World Wheelchair Basketball championships.

Scarborough natives Abdi Fatah Dini and Adam Lancia are members of the team.

The championships are being held in Birmingham, England.

They beat Turkey 69-60 on Sunday, July 11, France 67-55 on Saturday, July 10, Algeria 87-61 on Friday, July 9 and Mexico 68-45 on Thursday, July 8.

They play Australia on Monday, July 12.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for Wednesday, July 14 with the semis on Thursday, July 15 and the final game is set for Saturday, July 17.
