Eastern Commerce's unprecedented attempt at an eighth OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations) medal in nine years in senior boys hoops was ended by one point.After winning their opening game at the 4A OFSAA championships 67-40 against 13th-seeded St. Anne's on Tuesday, March 9, at Durham College in Oshawa, the fourth-seeded Eastern Commerce Saints bowed out in the second game 59-58 to fifth-seededed Vaughan Secondary School.The Saints could not rebound from a slow start in which they were down 20-11 after the first quarter, despite a furious fourth quarter rally in which they outscored Vaughan 22-13.
