Five members of the Wexford Wildcats U14 Girls team were part of the U14 Girls provincial soccer team that competed in and took home top honours at the Canadian National All-Star Championships in Quebec from July 21 to 26.
| Scarborough residents Madeline Iozzi, Sarah Maglahaes, Penny Liarakos, Rebecca Quinn and Diarra Simmons, who hail from the Wexford Soccer Club, made the provincial team.
| The girls played a total of five games at the tournament defeating New Brunswick 6-0, British Columbia 3-0, Manitoba 10-1, P.E.I. 2-0 and in the final game they defeated the host province Quebec 4-0. Overall, the provincial team scored 25 goals and only surrendered one.
| Diarra played left wing. Rebecca played attacking centre midfielder. Penny played defensive central midfielder. Sarah played central defence and Madeline played left fullback, a position she only plays on the provincial team.
| Madeline earned MVP honours in the final game.
