Ford has an opinion but no solutions

To the editor:

I don't get it.

The more mayoral candidate Rob Ford talks, the more people seem to be attracted to his negative philosophies.

Ford said "It's right now, we can't even deal with the 2.5 million people in the city. I think it's more important that we take care of the people now before we start bringing in more."

Ford seems to have an opinion on everything but brings forth no solutions.

That's not mayoral material to me. He thinks we pay too much in taxes but at the same time says we don't have enough money to take care to business now.

I just don't know why people are so angry or why the media thinks we are so angry.

We have the lowest taxes in the region. Would people rather pay no taxes like they do in places with little or no government? I think you get what you pay for.

I think the city is on the right track.

There is a vision for better transit for a growing city. There is a plan to divert more and more garbage from landfill.

If anyone is thinking about sitting out of this election, I would encourage them to make the effort and place an "X" for a candidate who meets your needs.
