Billboards a bad idea

To the editor:

Thank you for an insightful article on this subject. I have driven many years on Gardiner from downtown Toronto to Etobicoke in the evening, having been startled on several occasions by flashing billboards, and have been always amazed how any sane mind would put such signs by a highway. Thanks to your reporting, we know which Etobicoke councillors voted against it, but there is no mentioning of how Mark Grimes voted. I would like you to expose every councillor who voted in favour of such a preposterous idea so that we will remember not to vote for him or her when the next elections come around.
