What to do with old greeting cards?

To the editor:

I was wondering if The Mirror or its readers could help with some ideas as to how others could make use of old greeting cards.

I as well as my acquaintances are concerned we have no place to get rid of used greeting cards (Christmas, birthday, anniversary) that we have received other than to recycle them in the municipal blue bins.

Teachers and senior residences are no longer interested in making use of such cards. Can you suggest any idea as to who may have a use for old greeting cards? I would appreciate any suggestions that can be made.
