Flag day a way to honour our veterans

To the editor:

Wouldn't it be great if the citizens of Etobicoke and perhaps Toronto raised as many Canadian flags as possible on Flag Day, Feb. 15?

I honour my father, grandfather and five great-uncles (World War One and Two veterans) with the flag flying every day here in the village of Long Branch.

We can thank our veterans and all the young men and women serving around the world today. Just an idea.
