Subway vote more about politics than will

To the editor:

Shame on the three Scarborough councillors, Raymond Cho, Chin Lee and Glenn de Baeremaeker, for not voting to support their constituents for a Scarborough subway.

Quite clearly this was a politically motivated decision rather then one dictated by the wishes of the majority of the people of Scarborough.

Please spare me the usual argument about it costing more money than an above-ground system. We heard the same arguments before the building of our existing subway lines, somehow we managed to pay for those didn't we.
