Glass art sold to end breast cancer

People can help in the fight against breast cancer when they buy glass art at a sale next month in Streetsville.
The Walk On Glass fundraiser, taking place June 27 at Vic Johnston Community Centre, supports Weekend to End Breast Cancer, which benefits The Campbell Family Institute at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
More than 75 pieces of glass art from a half-dozen or so artists will be on sale.
Event organizer Tamara Breukelman, a glass artist herself, has donated her own work for the event. She hopes to raise $5,000. Weekend to End Breast Cancer is an annual walk held in various parts of Canada, including Toronto.
