Stun gun seized from vehicle

A 27-year-old man has been charged after police seized a stun gun during a vehicle stop on Birchmount Road north of Kingston Road Monday, Sept. 6, evening.

Police said the device, which is a prohibited weapon under the Criminal Code, was designed to look like a cellphone.

Timothy Grady, 27, of Hollis Avenue, has been charged with possessing a prohibited weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19.
