The Danforth Mosaic BIA wants everyone to know what the other Danforth has to offer.
Mosaic does...Dine Around the Danforth begins Friday, Sept. 10. Participating restaurants along Danforth Avenue between Westlake and Jones avenues will be offering discounts, entertainment and special menus until the end of the month.Diners can enjoy prix fixe menus and specials at a variety of restaurants offering a plethora of cuisines including Moroccan, Ethiopian, Italian, Mexican and Greek.Along with the food options, there will be entertainment at many of the restaurants including live music, comedy, karaoke and an art show.The event is an opportunity for people from the neighbourhood and beyond to try different cuisines at special prices, but it's also an opportunity to raise the profile of this lesser known part of Danforth Avenue, which includes hundreds of unique businesses and restaurants.More than three dozen multicultural restaurants have signed on to participate in the inaugural event.
