Teen robbed of cash, cellphone

A 16-year-old boy was the victim of a Sept. 2 mugging in Riverdale.

The robbery happened at about 10:15 p.m. near Wroxeter and Pape avenues.

Police report a male suspect approached the teen from behind, produced a knife and demanded he hand over his property.

The suspect then allegedly removed an MP3 player, a cellphone, a Metropass and a quantity of cash from the victim before fleeing the scene westbound on Wroxeter Avenue.

The victim was not injured.

Police are looking for a black male, about 20 years old, 5'11", 170 pounds with a medium build and brown eyes.
