Man treated in hospital after robbery

Police are searching for two males wanted in connection with an Aug. 28 mugging.

The robbery happened at around 6:30 a.m. near Queen Street West and Strachan Avenue.

Investigators report two male suspects approached a 26-year-old man and produced knives.

One of the suspects then allegedly demanded the man hand over cash, which he refused to do.

A suspect then reportedly hit the victim in the upper body, while the other slashed him on the arm.

The pair then allegedly removed a quantity of cash from the victim and fled the scene southbound toward Queen Street West.

The victim, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to hospital for treatment by Toronto EMS.

The first suspect is described as a white male, about 33 years old, 5'11" and about 165 pounds with a medium build.

The second suspect is a male, about 27 years old, 5'9" and about 146 pounds with a thin build.
