Police are searching for a male wanted in connection with the March 22 sexual assault of a woman near Gerrard and Sherbourne streets.
The attack happened at about 12:30 a.m. when a male suspect approached the victim and befriended her before allegedly pushing her into a deserted area and sexually assaulting her.She required medical attention.The suspect is described as a black male, about 27 years old and 6' with a medium build, dark short hair and some facial hair on his chin.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7474, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.222tips.com or text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
