Four people shot at Dundas and Bathurst streets

Three men and a woman are recovering after they were shot in the Dundas and Bathurst streets area Friday, July 30.

Police were called to 791 Dundas St. W. for the sound of gunshots at about 5 a.m.

"We located one victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg," Const. Isabelle Cotton said. "While on scene officers received information that other possible victims were placed into a car and driven away."

The car turned up at St. Michael's Hospital with two more victims.

"There was a fourth victim that walked into the hospital," said Cotton. "All four victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries."

Police didn't release descriptions of the shooter or shooters.

Cotton said the guns and gangs task force has been contacted as part of the investigation.

Anyone with information can call 14 Division at 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
