A man gunned down at a North York townhouse complex on Friday, July 30, has been identified as 26-year-old Nate Thompson.
Emergency crews were called to 1890 Sheppard Ave. W. at about 3 p.m.Thompson, shot in the head, was still breathing when paramedics took him to Sunnybrook hospital. He died a short time later. A taxi was seen leaving the scene at the time of the gunfire.The shooter is black, 20 to 30 years old, six-feet tall, 240 pounds with a shaved head and a heavy build and wore a blue sweater/jacket with white stripes on the sleeves. He was armed with a small handgun and fled west toward Jane Street. On Monday, investigators released several security camera images of two men who were in the area at the time of the murder. Both men have since been identified and cleared. "The investigation is ongoing," Const.
