Spiked wooden board found in Cherry Beach

Police have issued a public safety alert after a spiked wooden board was found in Cherry Beach July 27.

Police said the piece of wood was found buried in the sand, with nails sticking up, near bushes in the "dog off leash area."

There were no injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
