Three suspects sought in attempted robbery

Two men, aged 36 and 39, were roughed up during a March 18 swarming.

The incident happened at about 1:50 a.m. near Denison Avenue and Carr Street.

Police report a male and two female suspects approached the two men. The male suspect allegedly grabbed one of the victims, pushed him against a fence and demanded he hand over his wallet, which he agreed to do.

A struggled ensued when the female suspects reportedly reached into the other victim's pocket. The male suspect then allegedly grabbed the victim and all suspects punched and kicked him about the face and body before taking off empty handed in an unknown direction.

Toronto Emergency Medical Services treated that victim at the scene.

The other victim was uninjured.

The male suspect is black, about 17 years old, 5'7" and 141 pounds with a thin build, and short, curly black hair. The first female suspect is described as 15 years old and 5'4", while the second is only described as 5'4".
