Men who robbed dying woman in hospital sought. Police have identified two suspects in connection with the theft of jewelry from a dying woman at Toronto East General Hospital. Security camera image
An elderly woman on her deathbed was robbed of jewelry at Toronto East General Hospital (TEGH) Tuesday, March 16.

Police say two men entered the Coxwell and Mortimer avenues hospital at 8 p.m. and began going floor to floor. They then entered the room of an unconscious woman in the Palliative Care Unit and allegedly made off with her jewelry.

When police arrived, the victim had died.

The first suspect is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, with short, dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black leather jacket, a black and white striped shirt and white running shoes.

The second suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a fedora-style hat and a dark jacket.
