Teen taken to hospital after being stabbed

Police are asking for the public's help to locate three male suspects they believe are responsible for stabbing a 17-year-old boy several times during a swarming.

The incident happened on Thursday, March 11 at about 11:35 p.m. near Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue.

Investigators report a struggle ensued when one of the suspects demanded the victim hand over cash. The victim was stabbed several times during that altercation.

All three suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated.

The suspects are only described as Asian males, about 17 years old, and 5'7".
