Woman hit by car on Finch Avenue

A 42-year-old woman is recovering after being hit by a car in north Scarborough on Tuesday, March 16.

The accident occurred at 8:40 a.m. on Finch Avenue at Bridletowne Circle, east of Warden Avenue.

The pedestrian was bleeding from the nose and mouth when emergency crews arrived. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car's windshield was shattered by the impact.

Police closed the eastbound lanes of Finch at Bridletowne for nearly two hours as they investigated.
