Doodle Masterpiece Fundraiser for fine arts department

Centennial College is using student doodles to help raise money for the fine arts department.

The Doodle Masterpiece Fundraiser takes place Wednesday, March 24 at Centennial College's Centre for Creative Communications in East York.

Hundreds of sticky notes with doodles of every subject, from still life to comics, will be on display in the campus' Corridor Gallery. Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to bid on their favourite doodle for just $2. The miniature works were created by Centennial students in the college's media and arts program.

The fundraiser, which takes place from 7 to 9 p.m., will also feature a raffle and refreshments. All proceeds will pay for supplies for the Fine Arts department.

Admission to the event is free. The Centre for Creative Communications is located at 951 Carlaw Ave. at Mortimer Avenue, one block west of Pape Avenue.
