Teen attempts to steal iPod from another youth

A female suspect is wanted in connection with the attempted robbery of a 15-year-old girl.

The mugging happened on Thursday, March 11 at about 3:30 p.m. near Euston and Danforth avenues.

Police report the suspect approached the victim from behind and demanded she hand over some items.

The suspect then allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and attempted to remove her iPod.

A group of people came to help the victim, who sustained minor injuries but sought her own medical attention.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

She is described as a black female, about 17 years old, 5'5" with a heavy build and light brown hair.
