Two thugs violently snatch woman's purse

Investigators are looking for two male suspects who allegedly swarmed a 41-year-old woman.

The robbery happened on Monday, March 8 at about 9 p.m. near Gerrard Street East and Coxwell Avenue.

Police report the victim was approached from behind by two male suspects, one of which grabbed the woman by the arm and struck her about the head causing her to fall to the ground.

The suspects, who are only described as males, then fled the scene westbound on Wrenson Road with the victim's purse.

The victim sustained minor injuries, but refused any medical attention.
