Minor injuries in mugging

A 52-year-old man was mugged by a male suspect Sunday, March 7 at about 9:52 p.m. near Church and Alexander streets.

Police report the suspect approached the victim, struck him and removed a quantity of cash from him before fleeing the scene northbound on Church Street.

The victim had minor injuries as a result of the mugging but sought his own medical attention.

Police are looking for a North American Aboriginal male, 5'6", 23 years old with a medium build and brown straight unkempt hair.
